Payout holds and account reviews
Why payouts or checkout can be delayed, what thresholds mean, how locks unlock, and how to request a review.
Why holds happen
- Incomplete Stripe identity or business verification.
- Elevated refund or dispute rates.
- Risk reviews by Linker.page or Stripe (including early fraud warnings).
- Bank account changes (short cooldown).
- New-account rolling payout schedules until trust thresholds are met.
- Soft risk signals on an order or tip (shared network/device, VPN) — payment succeeds; payout may wait ~14 days.
Payout lock vs blocked checkout
A blocked tip or shop checkout (self-pay, disposable email, Tor) only rejects that payment attempt. Your store can keep selling.
A payout lock pauses withdrawals / Stripe payouts for a stated period. You still see balances in Earnings. Dashboard → Earnings shows the reason and unlock date, and we email you.
How locks unlock
- Bank change cooldown: usually ~72 hours, then payouts resume automatically.
- Early fraud warning / dispute / risk review: typically up to ~14 days, then Linker.page clears the lock and restores your schedule when the timer ends.
- Tip intake freezes tied to those security events use the same unlock time.
- Stripe may keep its own hold longer — check Stripe Connect as well.
Unlock thresholds
Your dashboard may show sales or order counts that improve payout speed. Meeting a threshold does not override active disputes, fraud flags, or Stripe holds.
Request a review
- Open Dashboard → Earnings / Payments and read the banner (reason + date).
- Finish outstanding Stripe identity or bank requests in the Stripe-hosted flow.
- Email support@linker.page with your account email, the unlock date shown, and a short description.
