Restricted and prohibited businesses

Business types that cannot use Linker.page payments, and how Stripe rules apply.

The rule

You must follow Linker.page Terms (Acceptable Use and Restricted Businesses) and Stripe's prohibited business categories. If either forbids a category, you cannot accept card payments for it on Linker.page.

Examples of prohibited use

  • Illegal products or services, stolen goods, sanctions evasion.
  • Unauthorized gambling, pyramid schemes, deceptive investments.
  • Counterfeit or IP-infringing goods.
  • Adult sexual services or content where Stripe or local law blocks Connect for your account.
  • Unsafe or illegal pharmaceuticals and medical claims.

Stripe list

Stripe publishes and updates its prohibited businesses list. When Connect onboarding or charges fail for category reasons, check Stripe's documentation and your Connect dashboard messages.

Linker.page may disable checkout or payouts for policy risk even before Stripe finalizes an action.
